The Cosmetic and Herbal cosmetic Industry at Vasai and Western Suburbs of Vasai & Western Suburbs (Mumbai) sees a huge potential for growth. These may be more specific in terms of
production and supply of variety of quality products, improvement in packaging,
creation of brand name, enhancement of Exports, increasing the share in local
market, Training to the employees. Standardization, reaping the benefits through
various promotional schemes of both state as well as Central Governments. Various

a) The cluster units are to put efforts to understand each others issues and problems
and to develop an attitude to solve the common issues in a collective
approach. Two + Two is equal to Five. Concept of “Synergy” is need to be

Research/Educational Institutions, machinery manufacturers and raw material
suppliers for a continual Technological improvements and onward transmission

Govt. Organizations, promotional bodies, for implementation and seeking
benefit from different schemes facilities.

e) Collective Brand Promotion of the products, manufactured in the cluster in both
local as well as exports market. |

Control, effective purchasing, handling of materials, sequencing, Multi skill
improvement amongst the employees, etc. |

level and/or through formation of consortium.

Manufacturers’ Association for extending need based co-ordial support to the
